14. Press the blue/blue-white and
brown/brown-white pairs into the color
coded core guide slits.
15. Cut the cores so that they extend by 1-2
mm (see scissors symbol).
16. Push the cable into position as shown in
the picture (see arrows). Make sure that
the cores remain in the guide slits and
close the cover.
Note: The edge of the cable jacket must be
between the two spikes as shown in the picture
Notes:
Replace the knife cassette if the cut edges
become ragged or after approx.

Follow steps 1 to 8.

Spread the cores according to the color
markers on the bottom of the contact
element of the FC RJ-45 Plug 180 4x2.
Cut off the inner fiber element as close to
the shield braid as possible.
12. Push the cable into position as shown in
the picture (see arrows). Make sure that
the cores remain in the guide slits and
close the cover.
Notes: Make sure that the shield sits correctly as
shown in the picture above.
The visible color marking is not valid for this type
of installation.

17. Turn the locking mechanism with your
hand as far as possible in the direction of
the arrow.
18. Insert a screwdriver (3 mm) into the slit in
the locking mechanism and turn it as far
as the limit stop.
19. The connector is correctly locked when
the opening of the locking mechanism is
pointing to the side and the surfaces are
flush with the surface of the connector.
Note: If necessary, the connector can be closed
with pliers.
The piercing contacts of the FC RJ-45 Plug
180 4x2 can be released and recontacted with
the same
cable cross-section
Cable ends that have already been pierced
must not be used again but must be cut off.
When releasing, do not pull on the plug!

the limit stop according to the color
markings.

20. If space is limited, release the plug using
a screwdriver (blade 3 mm wide).
When releasing, do not pull on the plug!
To create a crossover cable, combine the
wires in the connector at one end according to
up to 10 times.
the following scheme:
Connect orange-white with green-white
Connect orange with green
Connect brown-white with blue
Connect brown with blue-white
11. Press down the contact element as far as
the limit stop.
Notes: If the cores do not completely fill the core
guide slits, the cable must be stripped again.
If the cores extend beyond the core guide slits,
the cores must be shortened.
Removal from an RJ-45 jack
16. If space is limited, release the plug using
a screwdriver (blade 3 mm wide).
When releasing, do not pull on the plug!
