Друкувати сторінку15. Connect 1/4 tubing to the 2 brass fittings on the evaporator tray. run
the tubes to the outside of the vehicle.
16. At this point the unit will need to be evacuated and charged with
R134a Refrigerant by a licensed Automotive Refrigerant technician.
17. DO NOT ADD A OIL CHARGE WHEN INITIALLY CHARGING
THIS UNIT.
18. IF A OIL CHARGE NEEDS TO BE ADDED LATER AFTER A
FEW EVACUATIONS THEN PVE OIL CAN BE USED. PVE IS NON
CONDUCTIVE. IF PAG OIL IS USED IT WILL SHORT AND RUIN
THE COMPRESSOR.
Turn the unit on . It takes approximately 10-15 minutes for the unit to
reach maximum cooling capacity.
Caution: Make certain all connections are secure. Fuses are located on
the front unit. If the unit fails to turn on, check to see that all fuse's are
good. NEVER operate unit without top cover in place!! Improper
Servicing can lead to fire, electrocution, or explosion. Never service,
repair or troubleshoot a system unless you are a professional service
person. Bi monthly check internal flexible lines for leaks and repair or
replace if necessary. When the unit is not being used for a few days trip
the circuit breaker to cut power to the unit to prevent battery drain.
