TROUBLESHOOTING
WHEN A LASERVISION DISC IS BEING PLAYED
SYMPTOM
CAUSE
REMEDY
17. Disc is rotating but there is
no picture.
@ The TV set is not turned on.
@ Wrong connections from player to TV.
Turn on TV,
Make correct connections.
18. Picture continuously moves
vertically.

Adjust vertical-hold control on TV.
19.Particular
disc
does
not
playback
properly.
The
playback stops in the middie
of the disc program.
@ The disc is warped.
Use a soft cloth and lightly wipe off the dirt
from the surface
of the disc.
If necessary,
moisten a cioth with diluted neutral detergent
to remove heavy dirt or fingerprints.
LD discs oniy
Put the disc into the protective envelope, then
place it on a flat desk top. Subsequently, place
a flat board e.g, glass plate on the disc, and
load it with about 4 ~ 5 kgs (about 10 tbs). If it
is left in this state for one day, sometimes the
warp will be alleviated

or PLAY/PAUSE
to set
the piayer to normal play mode.
22. During STILL playback, a part
of the screen image shakes.
Ever if the disc is a standard play disc, there
may be some cases in which a fully still image
cannot be obtained, but this does not mean
that the player or the disc is defective.
23. CHAPTER
SKIP,
CHAPTER
PROGRAM
PLAY
and
CHAPTER NUMBER SEARCH
cannot be performed.
Press DISP to check
if chapter number
is
displayed.
24. Certain discs take too long to
search or are not searched.
Press CLEAR and picture will appear,
