Installation/Connection
BlackBerry Media Sync cannot start if users receive the following error message: "A

required DLL (BBDeviceFIleAccess.dll) is either missing or not registered correctly.
Please reinstall BlackBerry Media Sync to resolve this problem."
Impact: BlackBerry Media Sync cannot start.
Workaround: Run the BlackBerry Media Sync installer again.

A BlackBerry® Storm™ 9500 smartphone isn't recognized after installing BlackBerry
Media Sync while that device is connected.
Impact: The device isn't recognized.
Workaround: Restart your computer.
