Read this manual carefully before using the product and keep it in a safe place for reference. This product was constructed up
to standard and in compliance with regulations relating to electrical equipment and must be installed by technically qualified
personnel. The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for damage to persons or property resulting from failure to observe the
regulations contained in this booklet.
1.PRECAUTIONS
• Make sure that the mains supply to the unit is disconnected before performing any installation, service, maintenance or
electrical work!
• The installation and service of the unit and complete ventilation system must be performed by an authorized installer and in
accordance with local rules and regulations.
• If any abnormality in operation is detected, disconnect the device from the mains supply and contact a qualified technician
immediately.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• For installation an omnipolar switch should be incorporated in the fixed wiring, in accordance with the wiring regulations, to
provide a full disconnection under overvoltage category III conditions (contact opening distance equal to or greater than 3mm).
• A wrong electrical wiring can cause damage to the fan and interfere with other electronic devices.
2.TYPE
Controller for ventilation unit with 3 operation modes:
Mode A ==> 0-10V proportional fan control with wind sensor (Anemometer) and temperature block: main features of this mode
are the setting of the wind speed at which fan rotation decreases to the minimum speed or stops, and of the
temperature set at which the unit stops.
Mode B ==> 0-10V control proportional fan and anemometer block (DEFAULT): main feature of this mode are the setting of
the temperature at which the unit starts operating and of the wind speed at which the unit stops.
Mode C ==> 0-10V proportional fan control and destratification control with 2 temperature sensors: this mode allows the
setting of the temperature at which the unit changes its operation mode from winter to summer (temperature and
fan speed increase both proportionally).
2.1 HOW TO CHANGE THE MODE
Disconnect the controller from the main supply.
Keep the button
pressed and connect the controller to the main supply until the mode indication is shown on the display.
(A = 010A or B = 010B or C = 010C)
Release
2.2 MODE CHECK
Switch the controller off and then on. On the display the following sequence is shown: AErA/ -L20 / and then the set mode is displayed (010A or 010B or
010C).
