Pairing:

Pairing process varies between devices but the basic steps are the same. This

procedure is done upon initial install and will not have to be repeated.

Turn ignition and radio "ON"

LED inside module will flash (pairing mode)

Settings, Wireless & Networks, Bluetooth

2. On A2DP device: go to

3. Ensure

is turned on.

4. Select Bluetooth settings

Scan for devices

5. Tap

6. Wait for Bluetooth device name to appear and select it. (See below)

LED inside module will glow steady (paired)

Note: You may pair multiple devices (10) but only one connection is supported.

Operation:

Turn ignition and radio "ON"

2. Press "CD" button on radio to enter external device mode

3. Launch smartphone or tablet streaming application.

4. Smartphone volume should be 85% or higher.

5. Use radio volume control button to set playback level.

Warning

Playlist and Track selection, text display are*NOT*

possible from radio. Use audio device built-in controls or optional

wireless remote to access and control audio files.

To listen to CDs from remote CD changer

a. Press "CD" button on radio to enter external device mode.

b. Disable Bluetooth on your device.

CD changer playback resumes. (Control changer from radio buttons as

customary)

2. To resume streaming:

Enable Bluetooth

on A2DP device settings screen.

Note: Streaming has priority and remains until Bluetooth is disabled on smart

device. CD changer playback is possible when smart device is no longer paired

or out of range.

Warning for vehicles with CD changer:

At least one disc remain in CD changer for this version of the A2D-

VWB to work as described.
