Fitting Instructions

IMPORTANT

Clearview recommends a Straight Edge Tool be used when mounting the Top Mounting Brackets

to ensure they are straight and level, otherwise, incorrect installation may cause boards not to

engage/move as they should.

3.3 Mount RF (Right Front), RM (Right Middle) & RR (Right Rear) brackets to the underbody

of the vehicle/Vehicle Sill Panel using supplied hardware (nuts, bolts and washers).

It is recommended to line up with a

straight-edge tool/object to help with

mounting the top mounting brackets.

This provides a guide to keeping them

level

and

straight

vehicle.

Refer the red dotted line below as

example of where to line up straight

edge tool.

3.4 Adjust hardware accordingly where required so all top mounting brackets remain level

and straight along the vehicle, this is to ensure the boards can move freely and work as they

should.

Once top brackets are all straight and level, all fixings for the top mounting bracket are to

be firmly secured and tightened.

REPEAT Steps 3.1 to 3.4 when mounting the LF (Left Front), LM (Left Middle) & LR (Left

Rear) Top Mounting Brackets to the Left Hand Side of the vehicle.

3.5 Reassemble the Lower Swivel Idler Brackets (that were removed in Step 3.2 using the M8

nuts) to the Top Mounting Brackets on both the RH and LH sides.

Tighten up remaining hardware (nuts and bolts) when all is straight, level and in the

correct location.
