Place the unit on a flat horizontal surface.

Connect the data cable to the modem's data port (

Connect the other end of the data cable to the network port of your PC/swtich.

Connect a standard (analog) telephone set to the modem's telephone port (

Connect the power cable to the power adapter.

Connect the power adapter to the wall outlet. Wait a few seconds for the modem to
initialize.

If a CDROM is supplied with your modem, insert it to the CDROM drive, run the CPE
Auto-configuration Tool executable, and follow the instructions in
