UNPACKING

1. Set aside the blade guides and parts bags. The

vehicle electrical harnesses and Owner's Manual

packet are in the bag with the headlamp box.

Remove the receivers by moving the handle back

toward the receivers, disengaging the hitch pins.

Remove receivers and set aside.

2. Remove the lag screws and wood blocks. Remove

the cable ties securing the headlamp channel

to the headgear and set the headlamp channel

aside.

3. Remove the fasteners and blocking securing the

A‑frame to the pallet.

A‑FRAME TO BLADE ASSEMBLY

1. Loosen and remove both trip springs and tip the

blade forward. Insert the nose of the A‑frame into

the quadrant and align the pivot bolt hole on the

A-frame with the pivot bolt tube on the quadrant.

Insert the pivot tube through the quadrant into the

A-frame, tapered end first.

2. Install a trip bumper to each end of the pivot tube

and under the blade stop as shown below. The

round boss on the bumper will fit into the pivot

tube, and the bumpers will butt up against the

upper and lower edges of the quadrant.

3. Install the trip bumpers using 5/16" x 5" cap

screws, 5/16" flat washers, and 5/16" locknuts,

as shown below. Tighten the fasteners until the

bumpers begin to dimple.
