Brush sparking when

FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY ALWAYS TURN THE MAIN SWITCH ON THE
MACHINE "OFF" AND REMOVE THE PLUG FROM THE POWER SUPPLY
BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY MAINTENANCE OR TROUBLESHOOTING.
