Installing the Desktop Stand
ET 3170 Terminal and ET 3210/3215 Computers
Intended Use
When properly installed using the materials provided, and
according to these instructions, the two-piece desktop stand
is intended to mount the ET 3170 terminal and the ET 3210
and ET 3215 computers for use on a desktop or other flat
surface.

1 vertical stand assembly

4 #10-32 x 3/8-inch Phillips screws

4 plastic screw knobs

Mounting steps
The desktop stand has a vertical stand and a detachable
base with feet. To install the desktop stand to the terminal
or computer, follow these steps:

1. Place foam pads or other material on a flat surface.
2. Lay the ET unit face down on the protected surface
while installing the desktop stand.
3. Fit the stand around the lower edge of the back of the
unit.
4. Using a No. 2 Phillips screwdriver, attach the stand to
the unit with the four screws provided to a torque of
15 inch-pounds.
5. Attach the base to the upright section of the stand with
the four plastic screw knobs supplied.
