Assembling the saw blade (Figure 2)

Tighten the socket screw. Ensure that the blade is secure before using this jig saw.

To remove the saw blade, loosen the screws and take the saw blade out from the slot.

Dust extraction adapter

This is a small aperture located at the rear of jig saw. Ensure this is kept clean to allow the air to

continually blow dust away from the cutting area by connected to a suitable dust extraction vacuum

machine.

OPERATION

For thin material, fine cuts, tight curves

For hard material, e.g. mild steel, aluminum and hard wood.

For thick material.

NOTE: Before assembling the saw

blade, ensure that the plug has been

removed from the main supply.

Move the see-through guard

upward to expose the 2 socket

screws

Loosen 2 socket screws using the

Allen key provided.

Insert the saw blade into the slot.

Ensure that the blade teeth are

pointing forward and the blade is

aligned with the roller guide.

The pendulum action varies the forward cutting

angle of the blade for increased cutting efficiency.

This can also be adjusted during no load running.

Refer to the below chart for more details. Do not

use excessive blade force when cutting with the

pendulum action.
