Following the one of the above procedures, hold the base plate in position and firmly tighten the
bolts to clamp the base plate at that angle.

Check the angle and ensure the base plate is firmly secured.
NOTE: The angle marking on the base plate is accurate for most general purposes but it is
recommended for accurate work to set the angle with a protractor and make a test cut on other
material.

Operating hints

Warning:
Always hold the tool by the base in align with the work-piece. Failure to do so may result a
-
slanted cutting surface and blade breakage.

Advance the tool very slowly when cutting curves or scrolling. Forcing the tool may result a
slanted cutting surface and blade breakage.
Always use a blade suited to the material and material thickness to be cut.

Always ensure the work-piece is firmly held or clamped to prevent movement. For easier control,
-
use low speed to start cutting, then increase to correct speed. Any movement of the material
may affect the quality of the cut.
The blade cuts on the upwards stroke and may clip the uppermost surface or edges of your work
-
piece. When cutting, ensure your uppermost surface is a non-visible surface when your work is
finished.

1． Using Allen key provided, loosen 2 bolts
securing the base plate. (Fig. 4)
2． For preset angles, rotate the base plate so
as to follow the angle scale on base plate
at the designed angle (0

For other miter angles, slide the base
plate partially to the front and rotate to
your desired angle (use a protractor
scale).
Switch On/Off (Figure 5)
A switch with lock-on button is assembled for
continuous operation

ON: Depress lock-off button, and then
depress the operating switch trigger.
OFF: Release the operating switch trigger.
