REPAIRS ON THE PUMP SHOULD ONLY BE PERFORMED
BY PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED, QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS.
Solution
Clean the hair and lint strainer.
Tighten hose clamps and connection fittings.
Remove the 4 way valve from tank and clean the seal.
Check the seal, replace if needed.
Tighten clamp. DO NOT overtighten hose clamps
(35 in/lb max torque).
Check the socket and power cord.
Switch on the breaker. If it is immediately tripped again,
there is a defect in pump or controls.
Replace the pump/motor assembly.
Backwash several times until the backwash water is clear.
Purge into drainpipe for 30 seconds.
Replace the filter bottom strainer.
While pump is running, loosen, but do not remove, the pressure
gauge or pressure gauge plug to release air. Then retighten the
gauge or plug.
