Getting Started

A. CHARGING THE BATTERY

To charge the battery using the included USB AC Adapter:

1. Insert the mini-USB end of the USB cable into the mini-USB port on the XT1 unit.

2. Plug in the AC Adapter. Use only easily accessible wall sockets that are easily reached with the length of

supplied power cable.

To charge the battery using your PC USB Port:

1. Connect the USB cable to the PC. Use only a USB-IF compliant USB port as a charging source.

2. Insert the mini-USB end of the USB cable into the mini-USB port on the XT1 unit.

To charge the battery using an XT1 Cradle Kit:

1. Connect the power supply to the cradle, then connect the line cord to the power supply.

2. Plug in the power supply. Use only easily accessible wall sockets that are easily reached with the length of

supplied power cable.

3. Place the device in cradle. The LED on the device will illuminate to confirm connection.

4. The battery is fully charged in approximately 2 hours.

B. TURNING DEVICE ON/OFF

1. To turn on your device, press and hold the Power key.

2. If you are turning on your device for the first time, follow the on-screen instructions to set up your XT1

Rugged Mini-Tablet.

3. To power off the device, press and hold the Power key, and then select Power Off.
