3. Quick start

1. Connect the speakers using the included speaker cable.
2. Connect the power cord into an electric outlet and into the back of the left speaker (which
has the amplifier). The LED light on the loudspeaker will turn on.
3. To pair your Bluetooth device, turn on the speakers and press and hold 'BT' on your
remote for about 3 seconds, until the LED starts blinking. Your speakers are now in pairing
mode. Activate Bluetooth on your playback device and scan for devices. Your speaker will
show up as "Argon Audio FENRIS". Press "pair" and you're connected. The LED light on the
speaker will change to solid blue. You're now ready to start listening to music!
4. Besides Bluetooth, your FENRIS speakers have four more inputs: TV ARC, D1, AUX and
Phono. FENRIS will automatically switch between the inputs, but you can also use the
included remote control to select your wished input.
5. When using the TV ARC input, you might need to set the digital sound output on your TV to
PCM. Consult your TV manual to see how.
6. When connecting a turntable to the Phono input on the FENRIS speaker, remember to also
connect the ground wire from the turntable to the metal GND screw (if applicable).
7. If you have an active subwoofer, connect it to the FENRIS speaker's Pre-out, using an RCA
cable and then connect the cable to your subwoofer.
8. We recommend a running-in time of your FENRIS speakers of approximately 15-20 hours
at normal listening level before you decide on the final positioning of the speakers.

4. Special functions and features

APU (Auto Power Up)
When the FENRIS speakers receive input from any connected source (except Phono), they will
automatically power on (if powered off) and switch to the right input. This is called Auto Power
Up. Note: this will not happen if the speakers are already powered on and playing from another
source.
You can disable Auto Power Up (APU) if needed: simply press and hold the power button on
remote control for 5 seconds while the speakers are on. The speakers will now power off with
APU disabled. This will also disable automatic power off, meaning you need to turn off your
speakers manually.
To enable APU again, simply press and hold the power button for 5 seconds again when the
speaker is powered off.
Bluetooth unpairing
You can always press and hold the 'BT' button to remove all Bluetooth connections. Please note
that Bluetooth pairing is only available when the Bluetooth-input is selected.
