non-combustible container for safe removal from your home and dispose of carefully. Remember
ashes can stay hot for days and may impose a fire risk.
Only attempt to clean or empty ashes when the appliance is off and cold.
There should be little reason to empty ashes from the upper chamber as they are normally
drawn or fall into the chamber below. Periodically you may have to lift the vortex cap up and
out and ensure it is not blocked and allows free air movement through the fins on the
underside. Put it back into position after cleaning, ensuring the closed face of the vortex cap
faces outwards towards the door.
Ash collected in the lower chamber can be removed using a small shovel and brush. Care

Routine Stove Maintenance

Only genuine Firenzo spares may be used in the appliance. Failure will void the warranty.
Contact your Firenzo retailer to obtain any necessary spare parts. Firenzo recommend the appliance

do so. The flue system, the flue duct at the rear of the appliance, and the top diverter chamber

may be visible under close inspection. The cast surfaces of the stove are painted with high
temperature Stovebright paint. It is best maintained by simply vacuuming it with a soft brush
attachment or wiping it down with a dry, dust-free cloth when cool. The painted surface may
assume a greyish tinge over time, but the casting can easily be freshened up with high
temperature Stovebright metallic black paint.
Painted Surfaces. Painted surfaces are coated with Stovebright high temperature paint. To
keep clean use a clean dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners/materials that may cause

Glass windows. If the stove is used correctly, very little or no soot will be deposited on the

away once normal combustion begins in the stove. If the glass window becomes thoroughly
