As the water level rises, the switch will float and start the pump. As the water
level falls, so will the float switch, until it stops the pump. Float switches are
factory set to provide the correct ON-OFF switching mode.

It is not recommended that these pumps be used for pumping
drinking water, as there is a remote possibility of water
contamination due to leakage of pump lubricant should the pump
malfunction or the oil seal become damaged.

event the pump becomes overheated (due to becoming blocked etc.) the
pump will shut off
