4. OPERATION

To connect the long tube with the handle

and the stick vacuum cleaner press down

the catch on the tube and put it together

with the handle until it is locked. Press down

the catch at the other end of the tube and

lock it with the connection port of the stick

vacuum cleaner. Proceed as described above

to connect the short tube with the desired

accessories in the same way. To separate the

parts, press down the catch and pull out the

tube or the handle resp. the accessory slight-

ly twisting. When cleaning under furniture

and areas that are very difficult to access we

recommend connecting the long tube with

the nozzle and the short tube with the handle.

Electronic suction power

The suction power of the vacuum cleaner can be adapted to the

type of material of the cleaning area by electronic suction power.

Set the maximum suction power by turning the dial switch

(according to the increasing arrow). The opposite direction is to

reduce the suction power continuously. With an average setting

you can clean normally soiled carpets or smooth floors ener-

gy-saving.

Power on/off

By operating the on/off switch the stick vacuum cleaner will be

switched on.

Filter change indicator

Renew the filter bag when the filter change indicator (with noz-

zle lifted off and maximum suction power) is red and you made

sure already that the accessories are not clogged. A change of

the filter bag is necessary even if it is not full. In that case it is

the type of dirt that makes a change essential (e.g. cement, flour

and fine powder).

Suction hose with upholstery nozzle and suction brush attachment

(APART DELUXE)

The 1.50 m suction hose makes working with the crevice nozzle, the

upholstery nozzle and the suction brush attachment

(suitable for furniture) easier. By combining the suction hose with the

desired accessories you can easily clean up tall objects (shelves, door

frames, curtains, etc.) but also under beds, cupboards and it is particu-

larly suitable for car interiors.
