14 - Appendices
14.1 - Warning
- In order to avoid overheating do not cover the heating device
- Do not allow children to lean against the radiator and do not allow them to play nearby when it is in opera-
tion, as the surface may cause skin burns particularly because their refl exes have not yet been acquired or are
slower than those of an adult. To prevent risks, have a protective rail installed in front of the radiator.
- This device has not been designed to be used by people (including children) whose physical, sensory, or
mental capacities are limited, or persons lacking experience or knowledge, unless they have supervision or
instructions concerning the use of the device from a person responsible for their security.
- Supervise children to be sure they do not play with the device.
- Do not insert objects or paper into the device.
- All servicing inside the device must be performed by a qualifi ed professional.
- For any repairs, the machine must be unpowered and cooled before lifting it from its base.
14.2 - Device Identifi cation
Before calling our service center, please identify the device's references. They are written on the identifi cation
label located on the left side of the device.
Perform Check
Increase the set temperature for Comfort.
If the setting is at maximum, perform the following checks:
- Check whether another heating mode exists in the room.
- Ensure that the radiator is only heating the room (door closed).
- Have the device's power supply voltage checked.
- Check whether your radiator's power is appropriate for the size of your
room (we suggest an average of 100W/m² for a ceiling height of 2.50m).
These smudges are related to the poor quality of the ambient air. In
this case we suggest you check ventilation in the room (ventilation, air
intake, etc.) and the quality of the air and avoid smoking inside. These
smudges do not qualify for guarantee replacement.
This is normal. The radiator may heat in order to maintain the Eco
temperature.
Check that the scheduling unit is being operated correctly (see the User's
Guide) or that the scheduler is correctly positioned in its housing and is ope-
rating normally (check the status of the batteries, fuse...).
It is normal for the radiator to be hot when in operation; the maximum
surface temperature is limited in compliance with the NF Electricity
Performance standard. Nevertheless, should you deem your radiator to
be too hot, check that the power is appropriate for the surface area in
your room (we suggest 100W / m2 for a ceiling height of 2.5m) and that
the radiator is not in a draft that would hinder its operation.
