Urinal Preparation
1. Fit the desired water inlet spreader and piping that is long enough to go through the wall with
enough spare to allow connection to the incoming water supply. Ensure that the pipe
protrudes perpendicular to the rear face of the urinal.
2. Measure the distance from the centre of the bottom threaded fixing hole up to the centreline
of the perpendicular section of the pipe. Mark this position on the paper drilling template.
3. Fit a Ø45mm or Ø 50mm urinal waste with a 90º elbow that if required reduces the outlet to
32mm or 1¼"
4. Measure the distance from the centre of the bottom threaded fixing hole up to the centre of
the elbow outlet. Mark this position on the paper drilling template.
5. Connect a length of 32mm or 1¼" waste pipe to the elbow ensuring that it is long enough to
pass through the wall with enough spare to allow easy connection to the outgoing waste pipe-
work.
6. Hand tighten the three off M10 threaded fixing studs into the threaded inserts on the back of
the urinal. If the supplied rods are not long enough to pass through the wall it will be
necessary to cut lengths of standard M10 all-thread down to the correct size.
Wall Preparation
1. Ensure that the wall surface where the urinal is to be mounted is vertical, flat and free from
protrusions and debris.
2. Ensure that the wall to which the urinal is fitted is structurally sound and capable of
supporting the 18kg weight of the urinal.
3. Affix the paper drilling template to the wall at a height in accordance with the local
recommended standards using masking tape, ensuring that it is level and crease free.
4. Using a pencil, mark the hole centres for the 3 off mounting positions, water inlet pipe and
the waste pipe.
5. Remove the template and drill holes through the wall suitable to accept the following items:
a. 3 x M10 threaded fixing studs
b. 1 x inlet pipe
c. 1 x 32mm or 1¼" waste pipe
6. Rebate the water inlet and waste pipe holes if required to clear any fittings that protrude from
the rear of the urinal.
7. Remove all debris from the holes.
Fixing the Urinal
Warning: The urinal weighs 18kg and should only be fitted using recognised safe lifting
procedures.
Note: Fitting the urinal requires two people: one to lift and hold the urinal into position while the
other secures it.
1. Lift the urinal and slide into position taking care not to damage either the pipe-work or the
fixing studs.
2. From the other side of the wall secure the urinal into position using M10 washers and locknuts.
Ensure that there is enough thread to fully engage the locknut.
3. Fit a suitable 32mm or 1¼" deep seal trap to the waste outlet.
4. Flush the incoming water supply pipes to remove any debris and trapped air.
5. Connect the pipe-work up to urinal to the incoming supply and waste as required.
Commissioning for Use
1. Fully open the water isolation tap and check the system for leaks.
