Place the cleaved fiber in the
V-groove (on the right side) of
the fusion splicer.
The placement of the end face is
NOTE:
important. Fibers end face should be
located in between the V-groove and
electrodes as shown.

Perform the fusion.

Bring the splice protection sleeve
close to the splicer.
