surfaces wmay be reduced if combustible
surfaces are protected in accordance with
clause 6.10.1.2 of AS/NZS 5601.1, or
clause 6.9.2 of AS/NZS 5601.2

• Loose and inappropriate plug and
socket connections. May overheat the

Before connecting, check that the nominal
voltage of the appliance stated on the
rating plate, corresponds to the available
supply voltage. Also, check the power
rating of the appliance and make sure that
the wire is suitably sized to suit the
appliance power rating. Refer to the
Technical data chapter.
For installation into a standard
600mm width benchtop the
clearance specified can not be
achieved and combustible
surfaces must be protected in
accordance with the above
clauses.
