INSTALLATION AND USE
Unbox the SKIM-2 and check all parts are present.

Wash the filter floss through until clear with aquarium

water and place into the top area of the SKIM-2.
Place the surface strainer inside the top area of the

SKIM-2 above the filter floss.
If required, connect the venturi air pipe to the top
4
connector on the outlet.
Position the SKIM-2 inside you aquarium against the
5
aquarium glass using the included suction cup
attachments.
Make sure when positioning the SKIM-2 that the
6
surface strainer is able float up and down with the
surface level.
Insert the SKIM-2 plug into the mains, ensure you
7
have a drip loop present (see image 1).
If required, adjust the surface strainer height using the
8
dial on the front of the SKIM-2 (see image 2).
If you attached the venturi air pipe, adjust the flow of
9
oxygen / bubbles by twisting the venturi adjuster
(see image 3).
