Step 1: Connect the Home Energy Monitor to the AC Mains
1. Turn the main breaker off and open the main circuit box panel.
2. Clip clamps of the meter around the incoming electricity cable that connects to the main circuit breaker.
Important: HEM G2 have directionality on the clamps. Please make sure that the direction of the current is going
from K to L on both clamps. Both clamps need to be consistent in the direction of the current (from K to L).
