Leave to run in normal operation mode.

Refuelling after Extended Burn Time

If for any reason the fire has been allowed to burn down for an extended period and the fire itself
has become very low, you will need to re-establish adequate heat into the fire before reloading a full
load of fuel. The addition of large quantities of cold fuel onto a low ember bed will cause the new
fuel to smoulder and will be a waste of fuel and give little or no heat.
If refuelling the fire turn control handle back to the lighting/reload position. If you don't do
this the door will not open it has a safety device fitted.
Open door and add an intermediate load of fuel, then close the door fully.
When the intermediate fuel is burning well and a clear ember bed is established, open door
and add a load of 2 to 3 normal sized logs.
When the logs are burning well and the ember bed is fully established again, turn the control
handle back to the normal operation position and check the vortex flame is established and
stable in the lower chamber. If it pulses or extinguishes turn the handle back to the
lighting/reload position and allow the fire to warm up further for another 5-10 minutes and
then try again until it does.
Once the vortex flame is established the appliance can be left to run in its normal operating
mode.

Lower Chamber

The lower chamber is a viewing window for the vortex combustion process only and is not designed
for any other combustion process. Do not add fuel or anything combustible into this chamber, doing
so will void your warranty.
The lower chamber door must not be opened when the fire is operating. It is for cleaning access
only and will cause the fire to emit smoke into the room and may cause the appliance to back fire if
opened when going. Only empty ash from the chamber, or attempt to clean the glass if it gets
sooted up, when the fire is off and cold to touch.
Cleaning of Ashes from the Fireboxes
The gasification combustion process of the Firenzo Fusion means that a vast majority of the ashes
and charcoals normally left after the fire has extinguished will now be consumed so will require
much less emptying than a conventional wood burner. You should only empty ashes into a closed
