Unlike a conventional wood stove it has a fixed air supply, so when loaded and running it only

requires to be refuelled to maintain its heat output level. The control on the right hand side is only

to be used to direct the flue draft operation for initial lighting until the appliance and flue has

warmed sufficiently to run in normal operation mode and then used again to enable refuelling as

required.

Failure to follow this simple operation principle will reduce the appliances efficient heat output, may

cause the appliance to emit smoke to the room when refuelling and if operated incorrectly for

prolonged periods may void your warranty

Dia1. Normal Operation

Initial lighting

When using the appliance for the first few times, the high temperature paint system used may emit

some smoke and strong odours until the paint fully cure. This is a temporary condition and you will

need to open any doors and windows to ventilate the area until it ceases.

Turn the control knob on the right hand side to the lighting/reload position as shown in the

picture on page 8.dia 2.

Fully open upper chamber door to enable fuel loading.

Arrange adequate amount of kindling directly into base of fire box and across the top of the

vortex cap and light using appropriate lighting fuel.
