Error and Warning messages
This chapter describes the causes and solutions for error and warning messages
displayed during Wide Format TWAIN operation.
Wide Format TWAIN Error Messages
If an error occurs with host computer or scanner while scanning, Wide Format TWAIN
software displays an error message in a dialog box to inform the user. The messages and
their meanings are as follows.
<Scanner is being initialized or abnormal.>

Chapter 4 Error and Warning messages
Scanner is being initialized or abnormal.
Re-start the operation after modifying scanner.
Media jam occurred or printer is warming up.
Re-start the operation when printer is ready.
In standard size auto detect/synchronized mode, document
exceeding the specified maximum resolution has been
inserted.
Set the resolution within the maximum value and re-start
operation.
Scanner cover is open, or document has been jammed.
Close scanner cover, or remove jammed document and re-
start operation.
Document is too long.
Use shorter document.
