MINERAL/MULTIGRADE OIL ELECTRIC CLUTCH
HU 1108
BLEEDER 5-20L 3.5bar
• On vehicles fitted with solenoid valves, hydraulic flow to systems connected to the controller may
be "blocked". To ensure correct bleeding or fluid exchange, the solenoid valve must be opened
using a "valise" (diagnostic tool). The data supplied by the vehicle manufacturer must be observed.
- The SA 1192 clutch bleed hose is recommended for bleeding and filling hydraulic clutch systems.
This hose is connected and locked to the bleed valve on the master cylinder by means of a lever-
operated quick-release coupling. Used fluid is first extracted from the reservoir. Bleeding or filling
is then carried out from bottom to top.
When does the device need recharging?
The device automatically stops the pump engine before the container is empty. This ensures that
no air is pumped into the hydraulic system. An additional audible warning signal is provided for
confirmation. At this point, the empty fluid container must be replaced by a full one. The unit must
be switched off during this operation. Please refer to the corresponding points in the "Initial setup"
section.
Additional notes :
If the unit is switched on but still does not work, the power supply may have been interrupted.
Check and replace the electrical fuse (6) if necessary.
Do not attach the adapter to the filling pipe for storage! Otherwise, the pump will run empty.
After a malfunction (audible signal), wait approx. 10 seconds before restarting the unit. After
switching off the unit, the residual pressure is automatically reset to 1 bar.
OPERATION
Initial configuration :
1. Remove the cap from the new product container and insert the suction lance into the container
until it reaches the button. Place the cone firmly into the container opening.
2. Loosen the wing nut on the mounting bracket and rotate the mounting bracket forward.
3. Place the new container in the unit. Secure the container to the rear of the unit using the
retaining bracket and lock it in place with the wing screws.
4. Connect the power supply cable (4) to a properly earthed socket.
5. To ensure bubble-free fluid flow, it is necessary to purge the purge device and filling hose after
each container change. Attach an adapter or nozzle to the quick connector (10) on the filling
hose and hold it over an empty collection container. Then switch the unit on using the On/Off
switch (5) and let the product flow through the filling hose until it comes out without bubbles.
Then switch off the unit and remove the adapter or nozzle from the filling hose. The unit is now
ready for use!
6. Attach the appropriate adapter to the vehicle in a pressure-tight manner, and connect the filler
pipe to the adapter nipple using the quick-release coupling (4).
7. Switch the unit on using the On/Off switch (5). The pressure gauge (9) displays the pressure
set on the pressure reducer (10) (factory setting: 1 bar). To adjust the pressure, use the pressure
adjustment knobs (8).
8. Bleed or exchange fluid correctly. Follow the procedure specified by the vehicle manufacturer,
especially for vehicles with hydraulic-pneumatic control systems.
9. fter draining or exchanging fluid, turn off the on/off switch (6). This releases any residual pressure
in the filler pipe. The filling hose quick-release coupling (10) can then be disconnected from the
nipple of the bleed adapter without splashing hydraulic fluid.
