Battery Module Pre-installation Preparation
Follow the instructions below to prepare the Battery Module for
installation to the system.
1. Press the Ribbon Cable,
connected to the module to
ensure it is completely seated
on the connector.
CAUTION
If Ribbon Cable is twisted, the pins will not properly align. If power
is applied to the system with misalignment of pins or a twisted
ribbon cable, the controlling electronics in the Battery Module will be
destroyed and possible damage to the system internal components
could occur.
Installing Battery Module to System
1. Lay the System on its side and
position the Module so that the
front of the Module is pointed in
the same direction as the front
SEAT RIBBON
of the System.
CABLE ON MODULE
2. Install the loose end of the
Ribbon Cable to the System.
Make certain connector is
seated completely in System.

CAUTION
Make certain ribbon cable remains flat (not twisted) when the system
and the module are mounted together.
