worn, and that the wheels turn easily.

Check the wheel attachment. The distance between

The ends of the retaining ring must not exceed 1 mm

(see diagram A) after installation on the wheel axle.

Careless installation may lead to the retaining ring being

pulled out of shape and not springing back to its original

shape.

Wheels/Wheel axles

Check that the retaining ring is properly fitted in the

groove. Always use a new retaining ring!

Check that the front forks rotate easily.

When changing wheels, check that the groove for the

retaining ring has a sharp edge (see diagram B), and that

there is no excessive wear where the wheel bearings turn

on the shaft. Minimum shaft

diameter is 9.4 mm.
