4. TESTING THE ASTRIC DRY-BED

Once set up, the Astric Dry-Bed can be tested by pressing a clean damp

cloth onto the Detector Pad circuit. This will make the alarm sound. The

alarm sounds because moisture on the Detector Pad completes the circuit

in the same way urine would.

The Alarm can be turned off by disconnecting the Detector Pad from the

Alarm Unit.

Please ensure that the detector pad is fully dry before you plug the

detector pad back into the Alarm Unit.
