It is important to remember that:-
• You will want to protect the mattress
• You want to avoid false alarms
• Your child should be as comfortable as possible
• You want to give your child the best chance of reaching a swift
cure
Our recommended approach is to make the bed up as follows:-

Mattress protector
-
Bottom sheet
-
Astric Detector Pad
-
Towel covering the Detector Pad tucked into each side of
the bed.

Sheet, preferably brushed cotton. This is best folded into a
strip, then placed over the towel & tucked into each side of
the mattress.

Child goes here!

Top cover of either duvet or top sheet and blankets.
We recommend that your child does not wear any underpants or pyjama
bottoms when using the Astric Dry-Bed.
Please try to avoid your child getting too hot at night as excess sweat will
cause false alarms.
