PROBLEM: PRESS STOPS AFTER BDC (BOTTOM DEAD
CENTER)
CAUSE: REMEDY:
1. Low counterbalance pressure. Adjust pressure.
2. Feeder feeding too late in cycle. Adjust feeder to advance
material as soon as possible at low speed (stroke per minute) of
press.
3. Excess travel on Clutch/Brake of press. Adjust Clutch/Brake air
pressure to proper setting.
Adjust Clutch/Brake braking pads.
Determine if Clutch/Brake Assembly needs repair.
Slow press down.
