- "Normal" (Normal) - automatically removes the humidity in the air so that it remains
between 50 and 60%. The appliance starts to work when the humidity in the air exceeds
60% and turns off when the humidity is below 50%.
- "Contínuo" (Continuous) - continuously removes the moisture in the air and turns off
when: the drainage tank (A) is full or when it is turned off on button (K).
Note: if during the first usage the full water tank indicator light (I) lights up, remove the
drainage tank (A) and place it again in the correct position.
- When the full drainage tank indicator light (I) lights up, the appliance turns off
automatically. Remove the drainage tank (A), empty it and replace it again properly. The
appliance automatically begins its normal operation.
- When the defrost light (H) lights up, that mean that the air temperature is lower than 12º
C and that the appliance has activated the automatic defrost mode. This is a normal
procedure and does not mean malfunction of the appliance. The light (H) turns off when the
air temperature is higher than 12º C.
Note: if the appliance freezes, disconnect it from the wall socket and restart its operation.
If the temperature remains too low, outside of the parameters that the appliance should be
used (between 5 and 35 º C), it should be disconnected.
- To switch off the appliance turn the button (K) to off position "Desligado".
- If you wish to move the appliance or if it is not going to be used for a long period of time,
remove the supply cord from the wall socket and empty the drainage tank (E).
Continuous drainage (Fig. 1, 2 and 3)
- This appliance allows to be operated in continuous drainage mode. For this operation,
use a PVC hose with an inner diameter of 13 mm (accessory not included).
- Remove the soft cover and the tube stopple of the drainage outlet (G) and store them
into the water tank (A).
- Insert one of the hose extremities into the continuous drainage outlet (G) (Fig. 1).
- The hose must be placed below the drainage outlet (G), on an even surface (Fig. 2).
- Avoid bend the hose and place it on uneven surfaces, so the water drainage is not
blocked (Fig. 3).
HINTS
- The water from the water tank should not be used for consumption, but may be reused
for cleaning, toilets, etc.
- Always close the doors and windows of the room to be dehumidified.
