The article may only be used with the mains adapter that is

supplied. Only use the mains adapter with this article.

■

The mains adapter should only be connected to a plug socket

that has been properly installed. The socket must also be read-

ily accessible after connection. The mains voltage must match

the technical data of the mains adapter (see the "Technical

Data" section).

■

Position the mains cable in such a way that it does not be-

come squashed or bent and does not come into contact with

hot surfaces.

■

Remove the mains adapter from the plug socket

– if the lamp is not going to be used over a lengthy period of

time,

– if a fault occurs during operation,

– before a thunderstorm,

– before the lamp is cleaned.

■

Always pull the mains adapter and never the mains cable.

■

Always check the lamp for damage before putting it into oper-

ation. If the lamp, the mains cable or the mains adapter shows

visible signs of damage, the lamp must not be used.

■

If the lamp, the mains cable or the mains adapter is defective,

do not try to repair the lamp yourself. Have any repairs done

only by a specialist workshop or the customer service depart-

ment.

Danger of Fire

■

Maintain a sufﬁ cient distance from other sources of heat and

naked ﬂ ames.

■

Never cover the article with cloths or something similar. There

is a danger of overheating!

■

The lamp may only be set up with a minimum distance of ap-

prox. 20 cm from ﬂ ammable materials such as curtains, etc.

Avoiding Damage to Material, Property and the Article

■

Do not drop the article or subject it to heavy impacts.

■

Do not expose the article to extreme temperatures, strong tem-

perature ﬂ uctuations or moisture.

Putting Into Operation

For better illumination, the lamp head can be split in the

middle. The two individual parts can be pushed apart out-

wards.

Customer Service / Importer:

1. Unpack all parts and check the items supplied for complete-

ness (see the "Items Supplied and Article Overview" section)

and possible transport damage. Remove any ﬁ lms and stickers

that may be present. If you ﬁ nd any damage to the article, do

not use them (!), but contact our customer service department.

2. Set the lamp up so that it cannot fall down.

3. Adjust the lamp head (1) to the position you want using the

ﬂ exible lamp neck (5).

4. Insert the jack plug of the mains adapter into the socket (4) on

the lamp.

5. Insert the mains adapter into a properly installed plug socket

that is easily accessible.

Cleaning and Storage

ing pads to clean the article. These can damage the surface.

Store the lamp in a dry, clean place that is not accessible to

children and animals.
