Causes
The isolation valve is not open
.
A. Release valve is not closed.
B. The sealing ring is broken or loose
.
C. P/V switch is in wrong position
.
D. Internal tubing is dirty.
A. Isolation valve is not closed

B. Gauge is not tight.
C. The
sealing ring
is aged or frayed.
D. The thread type is not correct
.
E. Air route is blocked/dirty
.
A. Turned too tight last time.
B. New pump.

Warnings and cautions
Be careful when attaching low pressure/small chamber gauges to pump. It is easy
to overpressure these types of gauges.
Do NOT exceed the safety pressure limit ( 3500 psi / 235 Bar ).
Compressed air can be dangerous in an explosive or dirty environment.
Do NOT switch the pressure/vacuum selector switch to vacuum while pump is
under pressure. Make sure you have released pressure from BOTH the "Release
Valve" as well as the "Isolation Valve" before switching to vacuum.
Do NOT over tighten connectors or you may cause damage.
Pump should be stored in a dry/clean environment.
Safety issues or damage caused by incorrect operation is not the responsibility
of the manufacturer.
Do NOT hold pressure above 1000 psi for more than 4 hours.

Close isolation valve

Tighten the reference gauge and / or the gauge under test
Replace sealing ring.
Use the appropriate thread type or adaptor.
Pressurize to high pressure and release pressure quickly via the release valve
Do Not over tighten.Finger tight is good.
Pump will abrade with a few uses.
Lubricate the thread
