Step 4
– Take the motor hood cover off and set aside.
Step 5
– Take treadmill and tip on its side. On the underside using two 17mm wrenches take elevation bolt and nut off
elevation Motor shaft to main elevation assembly. Pull elevation assembly away from elevation motor
shaft. Take the bolt and nut and put in the small container ie. Soup Bowl.
Step 6
Note: Be extremely cautious of high voltage and moving parts at these next few steps. Then turn on the power
switch. Wait about 20 to 30 seconds for display to completely turn on.
Step 7
– With the treadmill on its side, separate elevation lower frame from elevation lower shaft, at least by 6" or
more. Turn on quick start. DO NOT SPEED UP. Elevate to 2% and elevation lower shaft should spin
clockwise for a few seconds then stop. Display screen should read 2%. Elevate back to 0% and elevation lower
shaft should spin in counter-clockwise for a few seconds and stop. Display screen should read 0%. Hit stop on
display, turn off power switch and unplug power cord from treadmill.
Step 8
- While treadmill is still on its side, line up elevation motor lower shaft with elevation frame. Insert bolt to connect
both parts. Bolt should easily go in both with less than 1/4 " (5 mm) gap between the elevation frame and dual
rubber stoppers on frame. If need be, adjust elevation shaft by turning clockwise or counter-clockwise to
specifications above, then reinsert bolt and nut.
Step 9
- Turn on quick start. DO NOT SPEED UP. Elevate to 2% and elevation assembly should move away from
treadmill frame. Display screen should read 2%. Elevate back to 0% and elevation assembly should come
back to frame almost hitting or barely hitting frame rubber stoppers. Display screen should read 0%. Hit stop
on display, turn off power switch and unplug power cord from treadmill.
Step 10
- Tighten down elevation lower shaft bolt and nut with 17mm wrenches to estimated 50lbs of torque. (100%
tighten then loosen 5 degrees turn). Turn treadmill back upright.
Step 11.
- Re-Install the 110v cord in both the treadmill and wall outlet. Then turn on the power switch. Wait about 20 to
30 seconds for display to completely turn on. Hit quick start. Turn on quick start. Confirm treadmill speed and
elevation working correctly. (Note; When elevation at 0%, lower elevation frame should be resting on rubber
stops with no gap.
Step 12
- Re-install treadmill motor hood cover. Find screws in the small container ie. Soup Bowl. First take the two
machine Phillip head screws 4mm with a #2 Phillip screw driver to rear of hood to frame. (Note: make sure front
of hood is resting on top of side rails, not jammed in front). Slide down both hood/rail covers with rubber
grommets to main hood. Install both front phillips head screws on hood to frame metal clips. Then install back
hood/rail covers to main hood. And finally, reinstall power cord sure connect with a #1 Phillips screw driver to
treadmill frame.
