3. Install the Valves

IMPORTANT! Do not solder the connections during this step.

Thread one mounting nut, ﬂange side up, followed by one ﬁber

washer and one rubber washers onto each valve body.

Insert the 2-7/8" (7.3 cm) long copper tubes between the valve

bodies and 1/2" tee.

For a ﬁnished deck or bath rim installation only, insert the 2-3/8"

(6 cm) long copper tube into the top of the tee.

NOTE: Orient the valve body marked "COLD" so it is on the right

when facing the front of the faucet.

Insert the valve bodies through the mounting holes from the

bottom of the deck/rim.

Hold the tube in place.

Place a collar, ﬂange side up, on each valve body and thread

them down to at least 1-13/16" (4.6 cm) from the top of the valve

stem.
