Should you enconnter
a problem with your
system, do the %llowing:
1
Make sure the power cord and speaker
cords are connected correctly and firmly.
2 Find your problem in the troubleshooting
checklist below and take the indicated
corrective action.
If the problem
persists after doing all of the
above, consult your nearest Sony dealer.
Note that if service personnel
changes
some
parts during repair, these parts may be retained.
When
the
I/_
indicator
flashes
Immediately
unplng the power cord and
check the lbllowing
items.
• If your unit have voltage
selector, is the
voltage
selector set to the correct voltage?
Check the voltage lbr your region, then
make snre the voltage selector is set
correctly.
• Are you using the supplied speakers?
• Is anything blocking
the ventilation
holes
on the rear of the unit?
After checking
the above items and fixing
any problem,
plug in the power cord again
and turn on the system. If the I/(_) indicator
still flashing, or if the cause of the problem
cannot be found even after checking
all the
above items, consult your nearest Son>:
dealer.
General
The display
starts
flashing

as you
plug in the power
cord even though
you have
not turned
on the system.

• Install a noise filter (commercially
available)
to
the power cord.

cannot
be set.

• Check the timer setting and set the correct time

• Cancel
the Sleep Timer fimction

• You cannot select the Play Timer and Timer
