CAUTIONS ABOUT OPERATION
•
Carefully read this manual before starting the air conditioner. The manual includes many important
things for daily operation.
•
Do not use this air conditioner for other purpose such as preserving food, precision instruments, art
objects.
•
When the air conditioner is operated together with a combustion appliance in the same area, ensure
adequate ventilation is provided.
•
When the air conditioner is used in a closed room, ensure adequate ventilation is provided.
•
If the air conditioner is not to be be used for a prolonged period of time, ensure the mains switch or
circuit breaker is switched off for safety. Disconnection from the power supply prevents damage to
the equipment by means of power surge and lightning strike
•
Occasional checks on outdoor unit fixings are recommended, insecure outdoor units may topple
over and could cause injury.
•
Do not wash the unit with water. It may cause an electric shock.
•
Do not use alcohol, benzene, thinner, glass cleaner, polishing powder, etc. for cleaning the unit,
because they deteriorate or damage the air conditioner.
•
To prevent personal injury when cleaning the unit, make sure that the electrical supply has been
isolated.
