Send e-mail messages:
1. From the Home screen, scroll
to and select Messages.
2. Press the Menu key.
3. Scroll to and select Compose Email.
4. In the To: field, perform
one of the following:
Enter the e-mail address
n
Start entering the contact's name.
n
When the name appears below the
To: field, select the name from the list.
5. Scroll down to the body of the
message and enter your message.
6. When you are done, press
the Menu key.
7. Select Send.
Read e-mail messages:
Your device notifies you when you have a
new e-mail message. You
will see an Envelope icon near the
top left corner of your Home screen.
To read e-mail messages:
1. From the Home screen, scroll
to and select Messages.
2. Scroll to the message and press the
Trackpad to view. You can also press
the Menu key and select Delete,
Reply, Forward, and Forward As.

Text Messaging

Send text messages:
1. From the Home screen, scroll
to and select Messages.
2. Press the Menu key.
3. Scroll to and select
Compose SMS Text.
4. In the To: field, perform
one of the following:
Enter the phone number.
n
Start entering the contact's name.
n
When the name appears below the
To: field, select the name.
Press the Trackpad. Select Choose
n
Contact and scroll to and select the
contact. You can send a message to
up to 10 recipients.
5. Select OK.
6. Enter your message.
7. Press the Menu key.
8. Select Send.
