Using the DeskCycle

Start at the Minimum Resistance
When you first get the bike, start off at the lowest pedal resistance setting. Gradually increase
the tension as you get used to pedaling the bike downward. It's easier to learn how to use the
bike correctly at the lower resistances.
Pedal Downward (Important!
)
The most important advice we can give
you is to pedal downward. This will keep
the bike in place. If the bike slides, then
you are pedaling forward.
Point your Toes Forward
If you point your toes upward, your
heels may hit the ground. If this
happens, simply rotate your feet so that
they are pointing more toward the
forward direction.

If your Knees Hit your Desk
If your desk is short your knees may hit the underside of your desk when you pedal the bike.
In this case you should move the bike farther away from you and extend your legs more.
Extending your legs lowers your knees.
Don't Overextend your Legs
Your knees should be bent about 25 degrees from fully-extended when the pedal is farthest
away from you.
Exercise at Work or Home
Use the DeskCycle while sitting at your desk, on the couch, or in a comfortable chair.
Use it while working, watching television, reading a book, or on the phone.
Use it just about anywhere when you're sitting down and your legs are free.

Adjusting the Pedal Resistance

There are 8 tension settings.
The Tension Indicator arrow points to the current
tension setting.
The higher the number, the higher the pedal
resistance.
