BATTERY MODULE INSTALLATION

Installing Battery Module to System (continued)

3. Position the System over the

Module. The Ribbon Cable

must be positioned as illustrated.

4. Set the System onto the Module

making certain the feet of the

System rest in the indents in the

Module.

CAUTION

If Ribbon Cable is twisted, the pins will not properly align. If power is

applied to the system with misalignment of pins or a twisted ribbon

cable, the controlling electronics in the Battery Module will be destroyed

and possible damage to the system internal components could occur.

5. With System positioned on the

Module, lay the assembly on

one side.

6. Secure the Module to the

System with the four 4mm X

20mm screws using the #1

Phillips screwdriver.

NOTE:

Tighten screws until System will

not move on the Module.

7. Set the assembly upright on the

work surface.

RIBBON

8. Install the Lanyard to the new

CABLE

Extended Front Access Panel.

9. Route the power cord through

the Battery Module to the

System.

NOTE:

If the System is equipped with the

optional Therapy System Cart, refer

to the Intelect Therapy System Cart

User Manual for proper installation

of the System with Module to Cart

instructions.
