Step 1: Activate
Take the blue C2 box and look for the Activation Key and C2 ID on the sticker. The C2 ID
is
also
located
on
smartchargequeensland.fleetcarma.com
to activate your C2 and link it with your account.
Step 2: Install the C2 Device
A.
Remove the C2 Device from its box. Retain the box for future reference to the C2 ID
number and Activation Code.
B.
Turn on the vehicle.
C.
Locate the OBD II port in your vehicle. The OBD II port is located in the driver footwell,
above the brake pedal. Depending on the year of your vehicle you may need to remove a plastic
panel to locate the OBD II port.
D.
Attach the extension cable to the C2 device. Press firmly to ensure a secure connection.
E.
Attach the opposite end of the cable to the OBD II port, and press firmly to ensure a
secure connection. Tuck the C2 device in behind the large plastic panel that is on the right
hand side of the accelerator pedal. The extension cable will fit securely in the OBD II port and
the C2 device can remain tucked away and out of sight. With some models the C2 device may
need to be placed in the space above the black plastic panel. Ensure that the C2 device and
the cable are secure whichever position you choose. The plastic panel will not be able to be replaced
once the C2 device and extension cable are installed. Store the plastic panel in your glove box.
