REAR PANEL CONNECTIONS

1. AUDIO OUTPUT

Connect

the left and right channel

unbalanced

(RCA) audio outputs to

any input on your pre-amplifier

receiver except"

Phono"

or "Turn-

table ". High-quality

interconnection

cables are recommended.

2. DIGITAL OUTPUT

Co-axial

cable

digital

output.

(For

some

units,

they

are

only

made

provision for future upgrade,

please

contact your dealer or distributor if you

have problem).

3. DVD DIGITAL INPUT (24/192)

(OPTION)

Once MD5501 module is installed in

XCD, you will be able to connect

digital output of your DVD player to the

input in order to enjoy high sound

quality

by using

the

up-sampling

feature of MD5501 to up-sample

the

digital signal

to 24bit/192KHz

and

then use one of the highest

quality

DAC installed

in XCD to make

possible

for you to enjoy

highest

possible sound quality from your DVD

player.

4. USB INPUT (Computer,

Gamer)

(OPTION)

Once MD5501 module is installed in

XCD, you will be able to connect USB

output

of your computer

or Game

Console to the input in order to enjoy

high sound quality by using the up-

sampling

feature

of MD5501 to up-

sample

the

digital

signal

24bit/192KHz and then use one of the

highest quality DAC installed in XCD

to make it possible for you to enjoy

highest

possible

sound quality from

your computer or game console.

5. USB OUTPUT (OPTION)

Once MD5501 module is installed in

XCD, you will be able to hook up other

equipment

with USB to XCD through

the USB OUTPUT connector.

Please

note USB is two-way system. So, you

will be either send digital signal from

XCD to the other equipments

or from

other equipments

into XCD through

the USB connector. The digital signals

output from the USB connector can be

from Computer or Game Console that

is hooked up to USB input connector

or from CD of the XCD.

6. AC Selector

(115V or 230V)

The AC Selector will be set to the AC

Power voltage

of your country from

factory. But in case if your XCD is not

received

directly from factory or you

move from one country to the other,

the AC selector

might

De set

different

voltage.

So,

before

plug

power cord into your wall AC outlet,

please

always check

if the Voltage

selector

set to the voltage

of the

country you will use XCD or not and

set to correct voltage.

When the AC

Selector set to 115VAC, the XCD can

be used in countries

with AC Power

Voltage

between

110V and

120V.

When the AC Selector set to 230V, the

XCD can be used in countries with AC

Power

Voltage

between

220V and

240V.

7. AC

RECEPTACLE

The AC RECEPTACLE is for you to

plug in with power cord attached in the

packing or you can plug in with other

power cord with your preferences.
