Water Softener/Salt
1) Remove the bottom rack of the dishwasher.
2) Unscrew and remove cap from the salt dispenser.
3) Place the end of the funnel (included with dishwasher)
into the hole and add about 1.5 kg. of dishwasher salt.
4) Fill the salt dispenser with water (It is normal for a
small amount of water to come out) .
5) After filling the container, screw the cap on tightly
in a counterclowise direction.
6) The salt indicator light will turn off once the salt
dispenser has been filled with salt.
7) Ensure that a short wash program is run after
the salt dispenser has been filled. Otherwise, the
filter system, pump or other important parts of the
machine may be damaged by salty water.
Note: The water softener/salt should only be
refilled when the salt indicator light on the control
panel turns on. Depending on how well the salt
dissolves, the salt warning light may still be on even
though the salt container is filled.
If there is not a salt indicator on the control panel
on the model of your dishwasher, you can estimate
when to refill the salt by the number of wash cycles
that the dishwasher has run.
Rinse Aid
Rinse aid greatly improves drying and reduces
water spots and filming. Water "sheets" off dishes
rather than forming water droplets that cling and leave
spots.
Filling Rinse Aid Dispenser:
1) A dispenser, located next to the detergent cup,
automatically releases a measured amount of rinse aid
during the last rinse. If spotting and poor drying are
problems, increase the amount of rinse aid dispensed by
removing the dispenser lid and rotating the dial to a higher
number. The dial is located under the dispenser cap.
The indicator will be completely dark when full and the
size of the dot on the indicator will diminish as the rinse
aid decreases.

DISHWASHER DISPENSERS

2) To add liquid rinse aid:
a)Turn dispenser cap to the open arrow (left) and lift out.
b)Pour in rinse aid until liquid touches the indicated fill level.
c)Replace cap by aligning it with the open arrow and turning
a
3) Do not overfill since this can cause oversudsing. Wipe up
any spills with a damp cloth.
Adjusting Rinse Aid Dispenser:
Depending on your dishwasher model, the rinse aid dispenser
has either four or six settings. Always start with the dispenser
set on "4". If spots and/or poor drying are a problem, increase
the amount of rinse aid released by removing the dispenser lid
and rotating the dial to "5". If the dishes are still not drying
properly or show spots, adjust the dial to the next higher level
until your dishes are spot free.
If there are sticky white stains on your dishes or a bluish film
on your glassware and knife blades, reduce the amount of
rinse aid released into your wash cycle.
