fruit, vegetables, hard cheese and chocolate.

This article is not suitable for chopping up very hard food (e.g.

nutmegs, coffee beans or cereals).

The article is not a mincer! The article is not suitable for chop-

ping up meat.

The article is for personal use only and is not intended for com-

mercial applications.

The article should only be used as described in these instruc-

tions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.

•

The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects

caused by improper handling, damage or unauthorised at-

tempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

Use

1. Insert the cutting insert you want into the frame.

2. Insert the crank handle on the other side of the frame and turn

it clockwise. The bayonet catch engages and connects the

cutting insert and the crank handle to one another.

3. Open up the handle.

4. Remove any stalks, peels or cores etc. from the food which is

to be cut up.

5. More solid fruit or vegetables should be cut in half or into

quarters before you process them further.

6. Place the food which is to be chopped up into the feed chute

and ﬂ ip the handle shut.

7. Hold the article in your hands in such a way that one hand can

ﬁ rmly grip the handle and press together at the same time and

the other hand can turn the crank handle.

8. Hold the article over a suitable collecting container and turn

the crank handle clockwise.

Cleaning and Storage

CAUTION!

■

Clean the article immediately after use to prevent the forma-

tion of germs!

■

Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean

the article. These could damage the article.

•

Take the article apart before cleaning it:

– Turn the crank handle anticlockwise. The bayonet catch is

released.

– Remove the cutting insert from the frame.

•

Remove any possible food residues from the article.

•

Clean all parts with hot water and a mild detergent or in the

dishwasher and then dry them thoroughly.

•

Store the article and all accessories in a dry place which is

protected from sunlight and is not accessible to children and

animals.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally

friendly manner and take it to a recycling centre. Dispose of

the article in an environmentally friendly manner as well.
