Adjusting the secondary handle

The secondary handle can pivot and lock into 1 of 3 pre-set

positions.

1. To change the position of the handle, depress the handle

adjustment button on the right hand side of the secondary

handle pivot.

2. Move the handle either up or down in the desired

direction. When the handle next aligns with a preset

location, the button will pop out and the handle will lock in

position.

Note:

Ensure the handle is firmly locked in a preset location

before the tool is operated. Attempting to operate the tool

without the handle locked could lead to lack of control.

Adjusting the angle of the

cutting head.

The angle of the cutting

head can be adjusted to suit

the task being performed. ie:

grass trimming or edging.

The head has 4 preset

positions.

To adjust, depress the

pivot button on the left

hand side of the head and

rotate. Release the button

and continue to rotate the

head until the head locks in

position.

Note:

Ensure the lock on the

swivel head has completely

engaged before the tool

is operated. Attempting to

operate the tool without the

head locked could lead to

lack of control.
