Fleece
Fleece is a soft-pile fabric and comes in a variety of thicknesses. To embroider on these a topping of
water soluble stabilizer is used to keep the pile from showing through the embroidery. If extremely
thick consider hooping a sticky tear-away instead of hooping the fleece. If hooping use cut-away or
heavy weight depending on the design.

Fabric Stretch: Will vary according to fabric

Jeans
Denim fabric comes in many weights. Depending on the thickness of the denim the type stabilizer will
vary. If the design is more stitch intensive a heavier stabilizer may also be useful. Jeans are also hard to
hoop. Because Jeans are shaped instead of flat it may be easier to hoop a sticky type stabilizer and
adhere the denim jeans.
Fabric Thickness: Medium to Heavy
Fabric Stretch: Light to a lot of stretch (check for Lycra content )
